The original Hunter stoves (Mells) Ltd was formed in the very early 1970’s to satisfy a local need of wood stoves for off-grid boiler installations in Somers/Wiltshire.

But by the late 1980’s, beset with design and build quality issues the old Hunter stoves slipped in receivership.
