Barra Alabaster Strip Wall Light, Copper and Natural Stone

The Barra Alabaster Wall Light is a horizontal bar of natural Spanish alabaster framed in copper. It is built for the spaces between rooms: a television wall that reads better with a warm bar of light beside it, a landing that needs something low and wide, a hallway that wants to feel like somewhere rather than a corridor.

Four lengths and two finishes mean it adapts to most walls. Each alabaster panel carries its own veining, so no two are the same.

Choosing a colour temperature

The fitting offers three settings, but alabaster warms light as it passes through the stone, so the 2700K setting is the one that suits the material best. 4000K reads noticeably cooler and 6000K flattens the warmth out of the veining. We would use 2700K in a living space and keep the higher settings for task areas.

Installation

This is a hardwired fitting with no plug and no switch on the light itself. We recommend a qualified electrician carries out the installation in accordance with current wiring regulations. For indoor use only.

Care

Alabaster is a soft stone and is slightly soluble in water. Dust with a dry, soft cloth only. Do not use damp cloths, sprays, vinegar or any abrasive cleaner. Keep away from steam and damp.
