The Holl's Cocoon is a traditional Finnish sauna built for two, in a footprint small enough for a terrace. At 150 × 130cm it fits where most outdoor saunas cannot — a courtyard, a roof terrace, a narrow side garden — without giving up the enveloping dry heat, the hot rocks or the löyly steam that make a traditional sauna what it is.
Thermo pine construction, an 8mm toughened glass door, a half-moon rear window and a raised bench. Supplied complete with the 4.5kW Vulkano Black heater and its sauna rocks, seven-colour chromotherapy lighting and a full accessory kit — nothing further to buy before your first session.
Designed for small outdoor spaces
Most traditional outdoor saunas assume you have a lawn to put them on. The Cocoon does not. Its 150cm width and 130cm depth mean it works on an equipped terrace, in a courtyard, or in the corner of a compact garden — the sort of space where a barrel or a full cabin would simply not go.
The half-moon rear window gives it a distinctive silhouette rather than the boxy look of a budget cabin, and the tinted door and window keep it feeling private from outside. Inside, the raised bench gives you a proper traditional seating position rather than a bench you perch on.
Thermo pine — built to live outdoors
The cabin is built from thermo pine, a thermowood produced by treating the timber at high temperature rather than with chemicals. The process drives out moisture and resin, leaving wood that is far more dimensionally stable than untreated softwood — it moves less, resists warping, and copes with the repeated heat cycles a sauna puts it through.
Thermowood is the standard choice for quality outdoor saunas for exactly that reason, and it brings a deeper, warmer tone than untreated pine along with the resinous scent that fills the cabin once it comes up to temperature.
As with any timber structure outdoors, follow the assembly, ventilation and maintenance guidance supplied with it to keep it in good order.
Traditional heat, with steam when you want it
This is a traditional Finnish sauna, not a steam room. The 4.5kW Vulkano Black heater brings the cabin up to a dry heat; ladle water over the hot rocks and you get the burst of löyly steam that defines a proper sauna session. Dry when you want it, humid when you don't.
Seven-colour LED chromotherapy lets you set the mood, and the included kit — bucket, ladle, thermo-hygrometer and hourglass — means you can use it properly from the first session without buying extras.

Supplied with full step-by-step assembly instructions and pre-made panels, so you can build it yourself. Most owners manage it comfortably with a second pair of hands and a free afternoon.

Delivery & Assembly
Delivery: approximately two weeks from order confirmation. You'll be notified by email or phone when your order is out for delivery.
Self assembly. The sauna comes with full assembly instructions so you can build it yourself — everything you need to put it together is in the box.

Installation
Base. The sauna needs a solid, level base able to take its weight, with the surrounding area planned for access and ventilation.
Electrical. The heater can be wired for 220/240V single phase or 380/400V three phase, so tell your electrician which supply you have before installation. The lighting runs on 220/240V and comes with a 4 metre cable.
Please note: the heater cable is not included. It needs to be specified to suit your installation and cable run, so your electrician should select it as part of preparing the supply. All electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations.
Warranty
Covered by the manufacturer's warranty: 4 years on the timber structure and 3 years on electrical components. Parts only.
