Solid copper meets natural marble in one precise vertical form. The Torino is a surface-mounted wall sconce with a cylindrical marble shade that glows at a deep 2700K warm white — the kind of light that makes walls, faces and timber look their very best. For a stairwell, bedroom, study or hotel corridor, it brings hotel-standard material quality to a residential setting.
Light doesn't bounce off marble the way it bounces off glass or metal. It passes into the stone, picking up the veining from within, so the shade glows rather than glares. Switched off, it reads as a solid sculptural column on the wall.
TWO MATERIALS, NO SHORTCUTS
Real stone, not a printed or resin imitation. Every shade carries its own veining, so no two fittings are identical — and the pattern only shows its full character once lit.
Solid copper rather than copper-effect plating. It holds its warmth against both cool greys and warm timbers, and deepens subtly with age.
WHERE IT WORKS
The 57cm vertical form suits a tall wall, and a pair mounted in sequence up a staircase gives rhythm as well as light.
Mounted either side of a headboard, it frees the bedside table and gives dimmable light exactly where you want it.
Hard-wearing materials and a dimmable warm output make it a natural fit for hotel rooms and corridors.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Can I fit this in a bathroom?
This fitting is not IP rated, so it is intended for dry indoor areas — bedrooms, hallways, stairwells, studies and living rooms. UK wiring regulations require an appropriately IP-rated fitting within the zones around a bath or shower. If you are lighting a bathroom, ask us and we will point you to a rated alternative.
Is the marble real?
Yes — natural stone, not printed resin or a marble-effect film. That is why each shade differs: the veining is whatever that piece of stone happened to contain. Slight variation in colour and pattern between fittings is normal and expected.
What do I need to dim it?
A trailing-edge LED dimmer is the usual choice for integrated LED fittings. Older resistive dimmers designed for filament bulbs can cause flicker or buzzing. Your electrician can confirm the right dimmer for your circuit — worth agreeing before installation rather than after.
Is there a bulb to change?
No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and rated for 50,000 hours — upwards of twenty years at three hours a night.
Will the copper change colour over time?
Indoors, very slowly. Copper deepens gently with age rather than turning green — that only happens with prolonged outdoor exposure. Most owners find the tone improves as it settles.
How high should I mount it?
For general wall lighting, roughly 1.5 to 1.7m from floor to the centre of the fitting works well. Beside a bed, lower — around 1.2 to 1.4m — so the light falls where you would read.
