Bertazzoni Model Number Decoder

Bertazzoni model codes look impenetrable until you see the pattern, at which point you can read any of them at a glance. Here is the whole system.

Worked example: PRO106L2EROT

Segment	Meaning
PRO	Professional Series
10	100cm width
6	six hob burners
L	gas hob — so this is a dual fuel cooker
2	two oven cavities
E	electric ovens
ROT	rosso — red

So: a 100cm Professional Series dual fuel range cooker, six gas burners, twin electric ovens, in red.

The series prefix

PRO — Professional Series. MAS — Master Series. HER — Heritage Series. MOD — Modern Series. Nuovo Luxury stocks the Professional Series in full and does not carry the other three.

The width digits

• 9 — 90cm (PRO96L2E, PRO95I2E)
• 10 — 100cm (PRO106L2E, PRO105I3E)
• 11 — 110cm (PRO116L3E, PRO115I3E)
• 12 — 120cm (PRO126G2E)

The burner or zone digit

The digit immediately after the width gives the number of hob burners or induction zones. PRO106L2E has six; PRO105I2E has five.

The fuel letter

• L — gas hob with electric ovens (dual fuel), the most common on Professional Series
• I — induction hob with electric ovens (all-electric)
• G — gas hob, used on the 120cm PRO126G2E

The oven digit

• 1 — single oven (Air-Tec vented models only)
• 2 — twin oven
• 3 — XG: three cavities with an extra-large main oven

This digit moves the price most. PRO106L2E is £4,699; PRO106L3E is £5,099. See our guide to twin versus triple ovens.

The E

Electric ovens — present on every Professional Series model, including the dual fuel ones. Only the hob is gas.

The colour suffix

Stainless steel (XT) is consistently £300 cheaper than the equivalent colour. Carbonio (CAT) is only offered on induction models.

The Air-Tec exception

PROCH94I1E breaks the pattern. CH denotes the Air-Tec models with integrated downdraft extraction; 94 is 90cm with four induction zones; I1 is induction with one oven. See the Air-Tec collection.
