Why stainless

It never dates, it works with every cabinetry colour and material, and it is the only finish that reads as genuinely professional rather than decorative. If you are fitting a kitchen you intend to change the look of over time, stainless is the choice that won't constrain you later — and it is the safest option for resale.

The trade-off is maintenance: stainless shows fingerprints and water spots and wants wiping with the grain. It is not harder work than gloss black, but it is more visible work than white or Carbonio.
