Bertazzoni PRO105I2EXT — 100cm twin oven induction range cooker in stainless steel, £4,799. An all-electric Professional Series cooker with an induction hob and twin electric ovens.

The hob

An induction hob controlled by Professional Series metal knobs. Induction puts around 85–90% of its energy into the pan rather than the surrounding air, boiling water in roughly half the time of gas. Control is instantaneous, low settings stay genuinely low, and the glass barely heats — spills wipe off rather than baking on.

Needs ferrous, magnetic cookware. All cast iron works and most modern stainless does; pure aluminium and copper don't. Test with a fridge magnet before ordering.

The ovens

Main electric oven with 11 functions and a digital programmer, plus an auxiliary oven for a second dish at a different temperature. Identical to the ovens in the dual fuel models — going all-electric costs you nothing on the baking side.

The alternative is the XG version (PRO105I3EXT, £5,599), which adds a third cavity with a grill and an extra-large main oven.

The stainless steel finish

£300 less than the equivalent colour. Never dates, works with any cabinetry, and the safest choice for resale. Shows fingerprints — wipe with the grain.

Who this suits

Homes without a gas supply, which increasingly means new builds. If you have gas and cook by eye, the dual fuel version (PRO106L2EXT) is £100 less at £4,699 — the narrowest fuel gap anywhere in the range, so this is the easiest place to choose induction on its merits rather than on price.

Installation

Needs a dedicated high-amperage circuit from the consumer unit, installed by a qualified electrician — not a 13A plug. No gas connection and no annual gas safety check. Ask us for the exact amperage, aperture and clearance figures from the specification sheet before cabinetry is cut. See our installation guide.

Delivery

UK mainland delivery on a date you choose. Check your route with our access guide. Note any damage when signing and send photos to info@nuovoluxury.co.uk within 24 hours.

Questions

Only £100 more than dual fuel? Yes — in this configuration the gap is unusually small. Elsewhere it's £300–£500.

Will my pans work? If a fridge magnet sticks firmly to the base, yes.

Do I need an extractor hood? Yes, unless you choose an Air-Tec model.
