Bertazzoni PRO96L2EXT — 90cm twin oven dual fuel range cooker in stainless steel, £4,099. This is the entry point to the entire Bertazzoni Professional Series — and it uses the same brass burners, the same ovens and the same build as models costing £2,000 more.
Why this is the one most people should buy
90cm is the most common range cooker width in UK kitchens because it fits the standard renovation scenario: the space a 60cm cooker plus one base unit occupied. Stepping up to 100cm often means losing storage or redesigning the run.
Stainless steel is £300 cheaper than the equivalent colour. So this model is the cheapest route into the series — not a stripped-back version of it. Nothing about the cooking is compromised.
The hob
Gas burners in high-quality brass, including a dual-ring power burner that drops to a genuine low simmer and climbs to full searing output. A thermocouple safety device allows gas to flow only when a flame is present. Brass conducts heat well and survives years of cleaning better than aluminium.
The ovens
Main electric oven with 11 functions and a digital programmer. Auxiliary oven with six versatile modes. Triple-glass doors reduce heat loss and keep the outer surface cooler.
Two cavities handle almost everything a household of four to six needs. If you regularly run two ovens at different temperatures plus a grill, look at the 100cm XG models — but be honest about how often that actually happens.
The stainless steel finish
Never dates, works with any cabinetry, and the safest choice for resale. It does show fingerprints and water spots — wipe with the grain.
Installation
Must be connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and also needs an electrical supply for the ovens. Confirm the gas connection position before the kitchen is fitted. Ask us for the exact aperture and clearance figures from the specification sheet before cabinetry is cut — we won't estimate them. See our installation guide.

Questions
Is this a lesser model? No. It's the narrowest and cheapest finish, not a lower spec. Same burners, same ovens, same build.
Should I stretch to 100cm? Only if you want the XG triple oven or genuinely need the extra hob width. Read our comparison.
Do I need an extractor hood? Yes, at least as wide as the cooker.
