Collection: Alabaster Pendant Lights and Chandeliers

Alabaster pendants and chandeliers for above a dining table, a kitchen island or a stairwell. Light passes through the stone rather than off it, so the source stays invisible and you get light on the table with no glare across it.

Linear pendants suit tables and islands. Aim for a fitting roughly two thirds of the table length, hung 75cm to 90cm above the top. Lower for an intimate dining room, higher over an island where people stand and need sightlines across the room. Centre the fitting on the table, not on the room.

Chandeliers need height. Keep the bottom of the fitting at least 2.1m from the floor in any walkthrough space, which in practice means a ceiling of 2.7m or more. Below that, a linear pendant is the better answer.

Full sizing and hanging guidance in our guide to ceiling lights, pendants and chandeliers. Alabaster is heavy, so tell your electrician the fitting weight before installation day.
