Bertazzoni PRO105I2EROT — 100cm twin oven induction range cooker in red, £5,099. An all-electric Professional Series cooker with an induction hob and twin electric ovens.
The hob
An induction hob controlled by Professional Series metal knobs. Induction puts around 85–90% of its energy into the pan rather than the surrounding air, boiling water in roughly half the time of gas. Control is instantaneous, and the glass barely heats — spills wipe off rather than baking on.
Needs ferrous, magnetic cookware. Test with a fridge magnet before ordering.
The ovens
Main electric oven with 11 functions and a digital programmer, plus an auxiliary oven for a second dish at a different temperature. Identical to the ovens in the dual fuel models.
The alternative is the XG version (PRO105I3EROT, £5,899), which adds a third cavity with a grill.
The red finish
Rosso red is the classic Italian range cooker colour and the boldest in the palette. At 100cm it's a strong statement without the sheer scale of 110cm or 120cm.
Let the cooker be the only strong colour in the room. Neutral cabinetry — off-white, pale grey, natural oak. Brass or warm metal handles pick up the gloss; cool chrome sits awkwardly beside it.
Who this suits
Homes without a gas supply — and anyone who wants a statement cooker without an open flame. If you have gas, the dual fuel version (PRO106L2EROT) is £400 less at £4,699.
Installation
Needs a dedicated high-amperage circuit from the consumer unit, installed by a qualified electrician — not a 13A plug. No gas connection and no annual gas safety check. Ask us for the exact amperage, aperture and clearance figures from the specification sheet before cabinetry is cut. See our installation guide.
