Bertazzoni PRO95I2ENET — 90cm twin oven induction range cooker in black, £4,899. An all-electric Professional Series cooker with an induction hob and twin electric ovens.
The hob
An induction hob controlled by Professional Series metal knobs. Induction puts around 85–90% of its energy into the pan rather than the surrounding air, boiling water in roughly half the time of gas. Control is instantaneous, low settings stay genuinely low, and the glass barely heats — so spills wipe off rather than baking on.
Needs ferrous, magnetic cookware. All cast iron works and most modern stainless does; pure aluminium and copper don't. Test with a fridge magnet before ordering.
The ovens
Main electric oven with 11 functions and a digital programmer. Auxiliary oven with six versatile modes. Triple-glass doors reduce heat loss. Identical to the ovens in the dual fuel models — going all-electric costs you nothing on the baking side.
The black finish
Black pairs naturally with the dark induction hob glass, so the cooker reads as one continuous object rather than a coloured panel with a glass top. It gives full Professional Series presence without committing to a colour that dates.
Worth weighing before you decide: gloss black shows fingerprints and water marks more than any other finish here. Carbonio (PRO95I2ECAT) is the same £4,899 and hides marks far better — genuinely worth comparing the two.
Who this suits
Homes without a gas supply, which increasingly means new builds. Also anyone who values speed, efficiency and easy cleaning over the visible flame of gas. If you have gas and cook by eye, the dual fuel version (PRO96L2ENET) is £500 less at £4,399.
Installation
Needs a dedicated high-amperage circuit from the consumer unit, installed by a qualified electrician — not a 13A plug. No gas connection and no annual gas safety check. Ask us for the exact amperage, aperture and clearance figures from the specification sheet before cabinetry is cut. See our installation guide.
