Chill Tubs Halo — Commercial Cold Immersion, Built In

The Chill Tubs Halo is a circular, architectural-grade ice bath engineered exclusively for commercial settings — hotels, gyms, leisure centres, spas and high-end wellness venues. Where the rest of the Chill Tubs range is built for home recovery, the Halo is built for high-traffic, daily-use environments and the durability standards that come with them.

It's a pure cold immersion experience: no jets, no massage, no distractions. Just consistent, controlled cold water at the temperature your guests want, all day, every day.

Built into the space, not bolted on. The Halo is designed to sit flush with the surrounding floor for a seamless, architectural finish — making it ideal for premium spa builds where aesthetics matter as much as function. The result is a feature piece that elevates the look of a wellness suite rather than cluttering it.

1,000L balance tank keeps things consistent. A fibreglass balance tank, included as standard, sits below the bathing area and maintains a constant water level even with repeated entries and exits. That means no fluctuating levels, no overflow drama, and a far more polished guest experience.

RGB spot lighting for the right atmosphere. Integrated RGB spot lighting is built into the bowl itself, giving operators flexible control over the mood — calming blue for a spa moment, brighter white for clinical recovery, or whatever colour fits the space.

Engineered for high-traffic use. Commercial venues see hundreds of uses a week, and the Halo's build reflects that. The shell, plumbing, pump and chiller are all specified for continuous commercial operation rather than the lighter cycles a home tub is built for.

Two configurations. Choose Shell Only if you already have a cooling system you'd like to integrate. Or choose Complete with Chiller for a turnkey, commercial-grade cold immersion system ready to install and run.

What's included

  • Pre-plumbed circular shell — ready to drop in and connect, no field plumbing of the bathing area required.
  • 1,000L fibreglass balance tank — keeps water levels constant during continuous use.
  • Circulation pump — keeps water moving and filtered through the system.
  • Black insulated cover — for energy efficiency and safety between sessions.
  • Integrated RGB spot lighting — built into the shell for ambient or branded lighting.
  • Commercial chiller — included with the "Complete with Chiller" configuration; sold separately for "Shell Only".

Who is the Chill Tubs Halo for?

The Halo is purpose-built for commercial wellness environments: hotel spas, gyms, leisure centres, recovery studios, premium wellness centres, holiday parks and high-end private members' clubs. If you're specifying a permanent ice bath that needs to look and perform at a commercial standard — and survive being used dozens of times a day — this is the model to look at.

For private home installations, the rest of the Chill Tubs range (Lite, Original, Pro) is the better fit. Get in touch and we'll point you to the right model.

As with all cold water therapy, the Halo isn't suitable for every end user. Guests with reduced mobility or sensory/cognitive limitations should only use it under supervision. Children must always be supervised. Pregnant women, and anyone with a heart condition, diabetes, blood-pressure issues, an infectious illness or other health concerns, should consult a doctor before use. Cold immersion should never be combined with alcohol or recreational drugs.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between the Shell Only and Complete configurations?
The Shell Only option (£11,999) includes the pre-plumbed circular shell, 1,000L balance tank, circulation pump and cover, but no chiller — ideal if you already have a commercial cooling system or want to specify your own. The Complete option (£14,999) includes everything plus a matched commercial chiller, ready to install and run.

What are the benefits of cold water therapy for our guests?
Reported benefits include reduced muscle soreness, faster recovery, lower inflammation and improved circulation, alongside potential mood and mental-alertness boosts. Many venues now treat ice baths as a flagship feature of a modern spa or recovery offering. Cold immersion isn't suitable for every guest, so on-site signage and a staff brief are essential.

How long should a session last?
Safe duration depends on water temperature, the individual, their cold-adaptation and experience. We recommend short starter sessions of around 30 seconds, with venues posting clear guidance and encouraging guests to exit and warm up if they feel uncomfortable or start to shiver. The current water temperature is displayed on the control panel.

Can we install the Halo outdoors?
The Halo is engineered as a built-in installation; siting (indoor vs outdoor, covered vs exposed) depends on the chiller specification and site preparation. Get in touch with your site details and we'll advise.
