HOLL'S · HYBRID INDOOR SAUNA · 2 SEATER

Two saunas in one cabin. The Holl's Hybrid Combi pairs a genuine 3.5kW Finnish stove reaching traditional sauna temperatures with a 2,200W full spectrum infrared system running up to 60°C. Take a high heat session with steam off the stones, a gentle infrared session, or run both together.

Spruce with a red cedar finish, abachi headrests, LED chromotherapy, Bluetooth audio and a safety glass door. Backed by a 10 year warranty on the wood panelling.

You do not have to choose

Most people buying a sauna get stuck on the same question. Traditional or infrared? They are genuinely different things, and each camp is convinced the other is missing the point.

The Hybrid Combi settles it by putting both in one cabin, independently controlled. Not a traditional sauna with a token panel bolted in, and not an infrared cabin with a decorative heater. Two complete systems.

Traditional Steam
3.5kW STOVE · 80 TO 90°C

Intense dry heat, with löyly steam on demand when you ladle water over the stones. The full purification ritual, and the version most people picture when they think of a sauna.

Long, deeply relaxing sessions
Full Spectrum Infrared
2,200W · UP TO 60°C

Radiant warmth that reaches muscle and tissue directly, at a much gentler air temperature. Ready in minutes, so a twenty minute session on a weeknight is realistic.

Traditional temperatures are the usual operating range for a Finnish sauna of this size. Your own preference and how long you preheat will move it within that band.

Two kinds of infrared, not one

"Full spectrum" gets used loosely. Here it means two different emitter types doing two different jobs, plus a carbon panel:

  • Quartz emitters produce a high proportion of IR-A and IR-B, the shorter wavelengths that penetrate deepest. They start fast and target muscle and tissue, which is what makes them useful for recovery and pain relief.
  • Magnesium emitters produce medium wave IR-B and IR-C. Less penetrating, more even. This is the heat that raises your core temperature steadily, brings on a proper sweat and gets circulation moving.
  • A 100W carbon panel fills in background warmth across the cabin.

Four Quartz and Magnesium emitters plus the carbon panel, 2,200W in total. The two emitter types complement each other rather than duplicating, which is the actual point of a full spectrum system.

BACKED FOR A DECADE
10 year wood panelling warranty

Holl's cover the wood panelling for ten years and the electronics for two. Most hybrid cabins at this price carry one to three years on the timber.

Materials and comfort

The structure is spruce with a red cedar finish, strong and warmer in tone than plain pine. Red cedar carries its own aroma that lifts as the cabin warms.

Seating is ergonomic bench seats with abachi headrests. Abachi barely conducts heat, so where your head and shoulders rest stays comfortable even at 90°C.

The front is a safety glass door, and lighting is LED chromotherapy you can set to suit the session rather than a single fixed colour.

Controls and audio

Both heat systems run from a digital control panel inside the cabin. An integrated audio system handles Bluetooth, MP3 and FM radio, so you can stream from your phone or just put the radio on.

Electrical supply

The 3.5kW stove draws around 15 amps at 230V, which is more than a UK 13A plug is rated for. This sauna must be hardwired to its own circuit by a qualified electrician and must not be connected through a plug or an extension lead.

It does remain a single phase job, so there is no three phase or 400V supply to arrange. Your electrician should specify the circuit rating, cable size, isolator and RCD protection to suit your property and the cable run, and the infrared system should be wired through the control panel per the supplied wiring diagram.

Installation

Siting. The cabin needs a level, load bearing floor with clearance around it for assembly and ventilation. Check ceiling height before ordering, the cabin stands 190cm and needs room above it.

Access. Measure doorways, stair turns and corners before you order. Panels are large and it is easier to solve that on paper than on the day.

Assembly. Supplied for assembly in situ. If you would rather not build it yourself, our team can assemble it on site, quoted separately for your address.

Common questions

How hot does it get?

In traditional mode the 3.5kW stove takes the cabin to normal Finnish sauna temperatures, typically 80 to 90°C, and you add steam by ladling water over the stones. In infrared mode the air stays much gentler at up to 60°C, because the emitters are warming your body rather than the room.

If infrared is cooler, is it a weaker session?

No, it is a different one. Infrared warms you directly rather than heating the air first, so you sweat at a far lower air temperature. People who find 90°C too much often prefer it, and it lets you stay in for 20 to 40 minutes rather than 10 to 20.

Can I run the stove and the infrared at the same time?

Yes. They are independent systems on one control panel. Run either on its own or both together, and change your mind session by session rather than at the point of purchase.

Why two types of infrared emitter?

Because they do different jobs. Quartz produces shorter IR-A and IR-B wavelengths that penetrate deeply, which is what helps with muscle recovery. Magnesium produces medium wave IR-B and IR-C for even, sweat inducing warmth. Together they cover far more of the spectrum than a single emitter type.

Does it need a special electrical supply?

It needs its own dedicated circuit, hardwired by a qualified electrician, because the 3.5kW stove draws more than a 13A plug can carry. It does not need three phase or 400V, so it is a straightforward job for any qualified electrician.

Is it a steam room?

No. It is a traditional Finnish sauna paired with infrared. The heat is dry and you create steam on demand by pouring water over the hot stones. A steam room is a different thing, running continuously humid at a much lower temperature.

Can it go outdoors or in a garage?

No. It is an indoor cabin and needs a dry, temperature controlled room. An unheated garage or outbuilding will let moisture into the timber.
